Job Title: CDL A Yard Driver / Spotter – Seasonal
Location: New Albany, Ohio

Schedule:

• Weekend Nights Fri - Sun 3pm - 3am (Mandatory)
• Week Nights Mon - Fri 3pm - 3am
• Day Shifts Mon - Fri 6am - 6pm
• Mandatory overtime required during peak season (September–December)

Job Summary:
A well-established logistics partner is hiring a CDL A Yard Spotter for first-shift yard operations in New Albany, Ohio. This is a fast-paced, high-traffic yard environment where space is tight and precision matters. The ideal candidate will have excellent backing skills and the ability to safely move trailers under pressure. You'll be responsible for yard spotting, supporting dock flow, and maintaining clear communication with dock staff to keep operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities:

• Move trailers between dock doors and staging areas
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections
• Hook and unhook trailers safely and efficiently
• Keep the yard organized and clear of safety hazards
• Communicate with dock and warehouse staff
• Adhere to all safety policies and yard procedures

Job Requirements:
Requirements:

• Valid CDL A license minimum of 2 years (Required)
• Minimum 2 years of CDL A tractor-trailer experience (Required)
• Two Weeks of Paid Training (Required): One Week on Day Shift and One Week on Night Shift
• Yard jockey or spotting experience (Preferred)
• Must pass background check (Required)
• Excellent trailer backing skills (Required)
• Able to work in a fast-paced yard environment (Required)
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused (Required)
• Available for overtime during peak season (Required)
