What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Service Technician position at Pappas Restaurants, Inc.?
Provides on-site support for computer hardware, peripheral, and data cabling issues. Repairs or replaces faulty hardware or cabling when dispatched to a restaurant. Maintains the hardware depot facility, which includes preparing new hardware, tracking warranty information, repairing faulty hardware and testing hardware prior to deployment. This position requires the ability to work after-hours “on call.” Some travel required as needed.

Listed below are the minimum qualifications required to successfully perform this role. These qualifications are necessary for someone to be considered for this position.
- 2-5 Years experience, preferred
- CompTIA A (optional)
- Valid driver’s license
- High School Diploma Required
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interdepartmental and customer interactions.
- Ability to multi-task with good organizational, project management skills, and work well under pressure.

- Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
- Maintain coordination and dexterity with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting.
- Work in confined spaces and at varying heights, including below waist and above shoulder level.
- Operate tools, machinery, and standard office equipment safely and effectively.
- Perform duties indoors and outdoors in a range of temperatures and weather conditions.
- Travel and move throughout job sites as needed.
