Responsibilities
- Assist with concrete pouring, finishing, and surface smoothing to meet project specifications and quality standards
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and concrete mixers safely and efficiently to prepare surfaces for finishing
- Install rebar and formwork according to blueprints and technical drawings to create sturdy foundations and structures
- Interpret construction plans, schematics, and blueprint specifications accurately for precise execution of tasks
- Perform concrete cutting, caulking, plastering, and tile laying as needed for renovation or restoration projects
- Support heavy lifting and heavy equipment operation to move materials safely around the site
- Follow all construction workplace safety regulations diligently to maintain a secure environment for yourself and team members
Experience
- Prior experience working on construction sites with concrete finishing or related trades such as masonry or carpentry is highly preferred
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematic interpretation, and formwork construction enhances your effectiveness on the job
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes and working with technical drawings is a plus
- Hands-on experience operating power tools, concrete pumps, or heavy equipment demonstrates your versatility in the field
