DescriptionWe’re looking for an Implementation Engineer to join our team at Paperwise, a Dura Software company. This is a Full-time Non-Exempt (overtime-eligible) position, working out of or close to our office in Springfield, MO. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and enjoys working directly with customers to make software solutions come to life.

Position Overview
The Implementation Engineer is responsible for assisting customers with the setup, configuration, and ongoing support of Paperwise document management software. This role requires strong technical skills, excellent communication, and a customer-first mindset. You’ll work closely with our implementation team to deploy new systems, troubleshoot issues, train end users, and ensure each client’s solution operates smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional technical support for Paperwise software via phone, email, and remote sessions.
- Lead or assist with software implementation, configuration, and user setup.
- Troubleshoot and independently resolve issues related to installations, performance, and integrations.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their workflow needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
- Partner with internal teams to test, document, and deploy updates or new features.
- Conduct user training and deliver clear documentation to customers.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of support interactions and implementation progress.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in technical support, software implementation, or a related IT role.
- Strong understanding of Windows Server environments, networking basics, and SQL databases.
- Familiarity with SaaS applications, web-based tools, or document management systems preferred.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently or within a team
Preferred Skills
- Experience with enterprise or workflow software deployments.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, or IIS configuration.
- Exposure to web technologies (e.g., APIs, browser-based apps).
- Experience working with enterprise clients in regulated industries.
