Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, customer-focused Inside Customer Service Representative with prior experience in the paper industry and proficiency in QuickBooks. This role is responsible for handling customer inquiries, processing orders, providing product information, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a solid understanding of paper products, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming customer calls and emails regarding orders, product availability, pricing, and delivery status.
2. Process sales orders, quotes, and invoices using QuickBooks.
3. Collaborate with sales, warehouse, and shipping teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
4. Build strong relationships with existing customers through proactive communication and problem resolution.
5. Provide technical knowledge and guidance related to paper products, applications, and specifications.
6. Manage customer accounts, including credit terms, returns, and account updates.
7. Handle customer complaints or issues in a professional and effective manner, escalating when necessary.
8. Maintain accurate and organized records of customer interactions and transactions.
9. Assist in inventory tracking and product availability updates.
10. Support outside sales representatives with account management and administrative tasks.
Qualifications:
2 years of experience in a customer service role, preferably in the paper industry (converting, distribution, printing, or related).
Proficiency in QuickBooks is required (Sales Order processing, Invoicing, Customer Management, etc.).
Strong working knowledge of paper grades, sizes, weights, and applications is highly preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a busy office environment.
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher preferred.

Pay: $35,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
