What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2nd Shift Production Lead position at Paper Dimensions?
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 2:30 PM–1:00 AM, 10-hour shifts, (3-day weekends!)
Paper Dimensions LLC, a growing paper converting company, is hiring a hands-on 2nd Shift Production Lead to oversee a small production team. This position works directly on the floor ensuring smooth operations, quality, and safety across two production lines.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and support a 4-person production team on 2nd shift
- Operate or learn to operate Webco and modified Dusenbery slitters, core cutter, forklifts, and clamp truck
- Monitor production flow, troubleshoot issues, and complete shift documentation
- Promote teamwork and a safe, organized work environment
What We’re Looking For
- Manufacturing or converting experience required
- Proven ability to lead or train others in a production setting
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Detail-oriented and safety-minded
- Willing to learn multiple machines and forklift/clamp truck operation
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $31.00 per hour
