Position Overview
Paper City Industries is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Packaging Specialists to support our production team in Wareham, MA. This temporary position is expected to last approximately 1–3 months and is ideal for individuals looking for short-term employment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
As a Packaging Specialist, you will be responsible for assembling, packaging, labeling, and preparing products for shipment while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble, package, and label products according to company specifications
- Inspect products and packaging to ensure quality and accuracy
- Prepare finished products for shipment and distribution
- Maintain accurate counts of packaging materials and finished goods
- Follow company procedures, safety guidelines, and quality control standards
- Keep workstations clean, organized, and efficient
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals
- Assist with additional production and warehouse tasks as needed
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain a consistent work schedule
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English
- Able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience in manufacturing, packaging, warehouse operations, or production environments is preferred but not required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
- Ability to bend, reach, walk, and move materials as needed
Additional Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must be able to pass any required pre-employment screenings
- This is an on-site position; remote work is not available
