The Practice Leader will be responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of our projects, providing technical expertise, and driving strategic growth through efficiency improvements and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, public agency officials and community leaders.
- Provide overall guidance on the design and technical aspects of the team(s) projects.
- Prepare proposals and client agreements.
- Monitor project tasks, budgets and schedules with Senior Project Managers and Project Managers.
- Responsible for the oversight of technical and professional development of project team(s).
- Participate in developing company design and production standards including needs assessments and deploying efficiency and innovation initiatives.
- Actively participate in professional associations and civic organizations.
- Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering or related field
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.)
- 15 years of professional engineering experience, including 10 years as a licensed P.E.
- Proven ability to address and resolve complex challenges for public-sector clients in the local market.
- Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) credential preferred.
- Proven ability to effectively communicate, both oral and written skills, with all level of employees in an organization.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, public agency officials and community leaders.
- Proven ability to lead a team of engineers and support personnel.
- Actively involved in professional associations and civic organizations.
- Must be able to work 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday.
