Senior Financial Systems Analyst

Job Description: Overview: The Senior Financial Systems Analyst supports and enhances the firm’s financial technology ecosystem, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and data integrity across all accounting and finance platforms. This role serves as a system expert for Deltek Vantagepoint and related integrations, driving process improvements, automation, and reporting solutions that enable better decision-making and operational performance. Responsibilities: Serve as a subject matter expert for Deltek Vantagepoint and related applications, including Electronic Invoicing (EI), A/P Approvals (PAT), and A/R Statements (ARM). Support the configuration, maintenance, and reporting of financial systems Administer security, maintain documentation, and ensure compliance with internal controls. Document and maintain knowledge of all system customizations Support integrations between financial systems (including Workday, OneStream, and others) to maintain data accuracy and consistency. Develop and maintain SQL queries, reports, and dashboards using Power BI and SQL Server Management Studio. Collaborate with internal customers to optimize workflows and reporting solutions. Act as liaison with vendors (e.g., EleVia) for case management, upgrades, and performance reviews. Provide user training, develop standard operating procedures (SOPs), and support adoption of new tools and features. Partner with the Director of Financial Systems to prioritize enhancements, manage upgrades, and support process improvement initiatives. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Information Systems. Minimum 5 years of experience in financial systems administration or ERP management (Deltek Vantagepoint preferred). Strong technical skills in SQL, Power BI, and data reporting tools. Solid understanding of accounting and project financial processes. Experience with system integrations (Workday, OneStream, or similar) preferred. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of data governance, audit compliance, and automation tools. Demonstrated integrity, adaptability, and commitment to continuous learning.
