Position Type: Employee – Fulltime
Hours: 35-40 per week
Compensation: $35.00/hour $0.70/mile travel reimbursement between clients
Payment Schedule: Bi-weekly
About the Role:
Papa’s Place is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our home care team. This position will provide medication management, client intake visits, and supervisory visits for care staff to ensure the highest standards of care for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-home supervisory visits for direct care staff at least twice per year.
- Observe, evaluate, and document staff performance.
- Complete initial and ongoing client medication assessments.
- Organize and set up medication planners (med sets) on a bi-weekly or as-needed basis.
- Ensure proper medication storage, labeling, and compliance with state regulations.
- Verify medication orders, manage refills, and educate staff and clients.
- Provide clinical oversight, including health assessments and care plan guidance.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and the care coordination team.
- Conduct Skills Check-off's for staff
- Assist in on the job trainings
Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Michigan.
- Current CPR, First Aid, and Bloodborne Pathogen certifications.
- Minimum of 3 years RN experience, including at least 1 year in direct health care.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable transportation.
