Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS system
- Ensure food safety standards are maintained by handling food properly and following sanitation protocols
- Manage cash handling, cashiering, and billing efficiently to ensure accurate transactions
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, tables, and service stations in accordance with health regulations
- Use effective time management skills to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Upsell menu items to increase sales while providing excellent customer service
- Follow all food handling and safety procedures diligently to ensure guest safety
Skills
- Proven experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments
- Proficiency with POS systems ; strong cashiering skills required
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
- Strong knowledge of the food industry, beverage preparation, and alcohol serving regulations
- Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods in nightclubs or busy restaurants
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order processing
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
