(PART-TIME) Cook/Food Truck
Papa Lou's Kitchen in Fayetteville, GA is looking for an “Experienced” COOK. Open since 2007, we have a proven history of food quality and customer service. Our ideal Cook candidate works well independently, is a self-starter, very punctual and reliable and must consistently follows exact recipes. If you’d are looking for a stable and reliable employer PLK is the place to be!
**Must be available Mon-Sat from 8a-3p or 2p-8p and Sunday 8a-6p (when needed)**
FOOD TRUCK shifts
Responsibilities:
- Set up workstation and manage items on the steam table daily
- Follow EXACT recipes standards, consistently
- Correctly store, prepare and maintain inventory on a weekly basis
- Follow all health and food safety guidelines
- Prep food items for usage during other shifts
- Wash dishes during shifts, keeping the sinks and cooking area clean during down time
- Monitor and maintain steam table items during shifts
Qualifications:
- "Deep Frying" experience is a requirement
- Proven working experience as a cook
- PUNCTUALITY and CONSISTENCY is a requirement
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
- Strong attention to detail and quality when cooking
- Able to multi-task well and work independently
- Ability to listen and communicate effectively with ownership
- SERVSAFE certification required upon hire or within 3 months after hire (Bonus given when completed)
