Duties
- Lead and motivate a diverse team to deliver exceptional food service and customer experiences in a quick service & fast food restaurant setting
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, cooking, and food handling to ensure quality standards are met consistently
- Manage inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining proper stock levels using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
- Supervise staff training, development, and performance evaluations to foster a skilled and motivated team
- Handle cash management duties including cash handling, balancing registers, and preparing financial reports
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and health codes across all kitchen and dining areas
- Coordinate shift management, scheduling staff coverage to meet customer demand efficiently
- Implement operational procedures for food production, catering services, and banquet events when applicable
- Conduct interviews for hiring new team members and participate in ongoing staff training initiatives
- Monitor budget adherence and assist with cost control strategies to maximize profitability
Experience
- Proven management experience in a food service environment, preferably within quick service or casual dining establishments
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking processes, and kitchen management practices
- Hands-on experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking
- Demonstrated ability to supervise teams effectively while maintaining high standards of customer service and hospitality management
- Background in food safety protocols, inventory control, cash handling, and food production processes
- Experience with staff training & development programs aimed at elevating team performance
- Prior involvement in restaurant management roles including shift management, budgeting, and operational oversight
- Familiarity with catering or banquet services is a plus; hotel or hospitality industry experience is advantageous
