Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our vibrant restaurant team. As a Server, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, expert beverage and food knowledge, and a warm, welcoming attitude. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will ensure guests leave satisfied and eager to return. Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a smooth flow of service from the moment they walk in
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Toast POS, processing sales transactions swiftly and correctly
• Provide detailed menu descriptions, including wine and spirits knowledge, to enhance guest choices and promote upselling opportunities
• Serve food and beverages with precision, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, maintaining high standards of presentation and safety
• Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and cleanliness standards are maintained throughout service
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately while processing payments efficiently using POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms
• Buss tables promptly after guests leave to maintain a clean dining environment and assist with food preparation or kitchen support as needed
• Foster positive guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally to ensure an outstanding dining experience

Skills

• Extensive experience with POS systems such as Toast POS, for order entry and sales processing
• Proven ability in food service roles with a focus on fine dining or high-volume environments
• Strong knowledge of beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine knowledge, and food pairing recommendations
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple tables efficiently
• Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods without compromising quality of service
• Experience in upselling menu items to enhance sales revenue while ensuring guest satisfaction
• Basic math skills for accurate check splitting, cash handling, and transaction processing
• Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment including bussing, host/hostess duties, or supporting kitchen staff when necessary
• Hospitality background with experience in serving guests in diverse settings such as casual or fine dining establishments

Pay: $150.00 - $400.00 per day
