Activity Assistant Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and implementing activities and programs for residents
- Provide support and guidance to residents in addressing aging issues and concerns
- Coordinate and manage the activity schedule for residents
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a positive and engaging environment for residents
- Document and maintain records of resident participation in activities
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of aging issues and counseling techniques
- Ability to effectively manage schedules and coordinate activities
- Experience in social work or a related field is preferred
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with residents
