What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavioral Health Technician position at Paoletta Counseling Services?
Paoletta Counseling Services is looking for Behavioral Health Technicians to provide both Individual and ABA Services to children in Venango County Area.
Excellent opportunity for High School Graduates and College Students to gain training and experience working with children and utilizing interventions associated with Applied Behavior Analysis. Perfect for parents with school age children
As a Behavior Health Technician, you will:
- Work one on one with children in school, home and/ or community setting to increase their social academic success
- Implement behavioral interventions and skill training techniques
- Collect data on student behavior and progress
- Communication with parents, teachers, and other professionals in regards to the child's progress.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 18 years of age with valid drivers license and reliable transportation
- Experience working with children and the ability to relate to and understand the behavioral needs
- Have a certification as a RBT -OR-
- Have a high school diploma or the equivalent of high school diploma and have completed a 40-hour training covering the RBT Task List (*This training will be provided by the employer for the employee) -OR-
- Have a minimum of 2 years experience in the provision of behavior health services
All applicants will be required to obtain a Child Abuse Clearance, PA State Criminal Background Check, and an FBI Background Check before employment can begin.
Non-compete agreement NOT required.
Drivers License is required for this position.
