Role: - Information Security Analyst
Location: - Indianapolis, IN (Hybrid)
Contract: - 6 months
Job Description: -
What You’ll Do
Monitor and report on security and confidentiality risks
Work with teams across IT to understand and implement security needs
Prep for and support major audits (IRS, SSA, OCSE, FBI, etc.)
Develop security policies, standards, and SOPs
Assist in configuring and monitoring logs (data, network, IAAM, applications)
Recommend safeguards for new and legacy systems
Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance
Stay current on evolving laws, privacy standards, and cybersecurity practices
Mentor newer staff when needed
What They’re Looking For
3 years working with a wide range of IT teams (admins, devs, support, etc.)
3 years network admin experience
3 years holding or working toward security certifications (CISSP, CRISC, etc.)
Experience with security frameworks (NIST, ISO, SOC 2, CIS, COBIT, etc.)
Strong understanding of vulnerabilities, scanning tools, and remediation
Experience with compliance and auditing (IRS, SSA, HIPAA is a big plus)
Ability to write clear security policies and standards
Degree in Information Security or related field preferred
