Position Summary
The Inside Sales Engineer builds and maintains relationships with key customers, influencers, and decision makers in the assigned territory, ensuring satisfaction with EPG products and services. The role includes pre‑design, proposal development, and sales of developed systems, along with advising internal teams on pricing and implementation based on customer requirements. The position supports the Project Manager with technical details for projects sold and assists with invoice collection when needed.
Essential Functions
- Customer and Market Development: Build relationships with key customers, influencers, and decision makers in the assigned territory. Influence, assist, consult, and develop relationships in assigned markets to ensure customer satisfaction with EPG products and services.
- Sales Execution: Communicate directly with customers, identify needs, and propose effective, technically sound solutions.
- Technical Support to Projects: Provide the Project Manager with accurate technical details for projects sold; assist with invoice collection when needed.
- Proposal Development: Develop sales proposals and detailed descriptions of individual system designs to enable effective project management.
- Sales Team Enablement: Use technical knowledge of product offerings to advise and support sales teams with pricing estimates and implementation guidance based on customer requirements.
- Scheduling and Time Management: Manage personal schedule and priorities effectively; maintain accountability for deadlines.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare clear technical documentation, reports, requisitions, recommendations, and formal proposals.
