The Leasing Specialist is responsible for supporting occupancy and delivering a positive experience for both prospective and current residents. This role manages the full leasing process, from initial inquiry through move-in, while maintaining strong knowledge of the property and market.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist prospective residents, including conducting tours and responding to phone and internet inquiries
- Manage leads and follow up with prospects to convert traffic into leases
- Maintain strong knowledge of the property, pricing, and local competition
- Prepare lease paperwork and ensure all documentation is accurate and complete
- Track and manage prospect traffic and leasing activity in the system
- Support move-in readiness, including unit inspections and coordination
- Assist with resident communication and overall resident experience
- Participate in resident events and community engagement efforts
- Maintain a professional, customer-focused presence at all times
- Follow company policies and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Experience
High school diploma or GED required. Prior customer service or leasing experience preferred.
Skills & Abilities
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office; ability to learn property management software)
- Fluency in English required
- Spanish language proficiency required to effectively communicate with residents and prospects
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and on-call as needed
