Panther Heating & Cooling is looking for an exceptional HVAC Installer ready to join a team-oriented, locally owned company focused on customer service.
Job Title: HVAC Helper
Work Hours: 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Occasional Overtime
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Perform installations of HVAC equipment, ductwork and accessories.
- Installation of gas piping, venting hoods and other HVAC related jobs
- Ensure each job meets code requirements and Panther standards
- Assist Install Lead in maintaining a stocked and clean company truck
- Provide exceptional customer service for every customer
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- 2 years HVAC Install Experience
- Advanced customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Organized
- Geographical knowledge of sales area or map reading skills
- Mechanical ability to work with tools
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Excellent verbal skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Energetic personality
- Well organized and ability to work independently
Physical Demands:
- Constantly required to walk about
- Constantly required to maintain balance while walking, standing or crouching
- Constantly required to reach up and out with hands and arms
- Constantly required to stoop, kneel or crouch
- Occasionally required to push, pull or lift up to 75lbs
- Constantly use hands to grasp objects, pick up objects, move objects or hold objects
- Regularly required to stand for long periods of time
- Constantly identifies and detects written information on equipment labels, written communication, form and other labels/documents
- Routinely required to climb and work from ladders
- Routinely required to work in extreme heat or cold (seasonal)
