Pantheon Electric is seeking a Staff / Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team and support accounting operations across multiple North American business units. This role offers broad exposure to financial reporting, close activities, reconciliations, and business operations within a fast-paced, private equity-backed manufacturing company, with strong visibility to finance leadership and room to grow as the organization expands.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION:

Pantheon Electric is growing, and we are looking for a Staff / Senior Accountant to join our finance team and support our North American accounting operations.

This is a strong opportunity for someone who wants more than a narrow accounting role. You will be involved in the close process, financial reporting, reconciliations, variance analysis, audit support, and process improvement while gaining visibility across multiple business units and working closely with finance and operational leaders.

What You’ll Do

• Support the monthly and quarterly close process, including journal entries, accruals, and supporting schedules
• Prepare and maintain balance sheet account reconciliations
• Investigate and resolve reconciling items in a timely manner
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement preparation in accordance with US GAAP
• Perform variance analysis and help identify key drivers behind financial results
• Support internal and external audit requests and maintain clear supporting documentation
• Assist with tax compliance activities and coordinate with external advisors as needed
• Partner with finance and operational teams to improve reporting accuracy and financial visibility
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve close efficiency
• Take on additional responsibilities as the finance organization and company continue to grow

Qualifications

• 2 years of accounting experience in public accounting, corporate accounting, or a combination of both
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial statement preparation
• Hands-on experience preparing journal entries and account reconciliations
• Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial data
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
• Collaborative, hands-on approach with a willingness to learn
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with finance and cross-functional partners
• Experience in a manufacturing, multi-entity, or private equity-backed environment is a plus
