Position Overview
Pantheon Data has a need for a Junior Marine Electronics Engineer to support a major surface acquisition program for the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG). The selected candidate will work as part of a dynamic cross-functional team to support the design and development of Coast Guard ships and boats
Required Skills and Experience
- Able to perform design calculations and studies, develop and revise drawings;
- Able to conduct evaluation, design, development and analysis of electrical circuits and shipboard systems including component selection and integration.
- Conduct design of electric and electronic systems, study power generation and distribution, and review centralized machinery monitoring and control.
- Ability to work effectively remotely in cross-functional teams.
- Ability to meet deadlines and produce quality work.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite software including Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
Education
Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in a Technical, Engineering, or Marine field
Clearance Requirements
U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
Work Location: Hybrid - three (3) days a week at USCG HQ (DHS St. Elizabeth's Campus in D.C.)

Compensation
The salary range for this position is $45,000 - $65,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
