Requires a Q clearance; however all qualified candidates will be considered regardless of their current clearance status. The ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy Q clearance is required.
Position may require entry into Materials Access Areas (MAA) and participation in the Human Reliability Program (HRP). If HRP is required, candidate must complete a counterintelligence-scope polygraph, pursuant to 10 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 709. Medical requirements may apply.

What You'll Do
- Directs, oversees, coordinates, and supervises janitorial activities in a professional craft environment, specifically the supervision of janitorial and custodial duties
- Makes recommendations to effectively accomplish assigned duties and maintains all applicable records necessary to document the operations within area of responsibility.
- Manages personnel and material resources following all operation policies, union agreements, and safety, health, and security standards
- Responsible for the oversight of all custodial activities on job sites.
- The employee’s primary duty is management of the enterprise, or of a customarily recognized department or subdivision thereof, and includes duties, such as: interviewing, selecting, and training employees; setting and adjusting work hours; maintaining production records; appraising employee productivity and grievances; disciplining employees, and planning and apportioning work among employees.
- Participates in worker involvement including input to work planning and methods to identify hazards and controls.
- Understands a worker’s right to stop work when they feel their own or other’s personal safety is jeopardized.
- Attends all required safety meetings and training. Offers suggestions on improvements to the work environment .
- Bachelor's Degree and minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- NOTE: Applicants without a Bachelor's Degree may be considered based on a combination of 13 or more years of completed education and/or relevant experience.
