As a Technical Liaison for Facility Engineering, you will be at the forefront of innovation and execution, driving critical initiatives that shape our infrastructure. You will expertly orchestrate the transformation of concepts into tangible assets by facilitating drafting and drawing requests, ensure seamless material acquisition, and spearhead the coordination of high-impact special projects. Your strategic vision will also be essential in developing and managing departmental metrics, providing critical insights that fuel continuous improvement and operational excellence.
You will serve as a central point of coordination, collaborating dynamically with System Engineers, Facility Engineering Management, and Configuration Management to tackle complex challenges and deliver exceptional results. The Technical Liaison is empowered to make independent, informed decisions on defined tasks, projects, and issues. You will leverage your comprehensive understanding of diverse Pantex systems to resolve technical complexities, drawing upon multidisciplinary expertise to achieve optimal solutions.

Requires a Q clearance; however all qualified candidates will be considered regardless of their current clearance status. The ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy Q clearance is required.
Position may require entry into Materials Access Areas (MAA) and participation in the Human Reliability Program (HRP). If HRP is required, candidate must complete a counterintelligence-scope polygraph, pursuant to 10CFR 709. Medical requirements may apply. If the successful candidate is not currently certified in the HRP, the certification process will be initiated upon assumption of the position. If the successful candidate is currently certified in the HRP, a review for HRP certification in the appropriate category will be performed by the hiring manager and the HRP Management Official, and the certification process in the appropriate category will be initiated upon assumption of the position.
