Front Desk Receptionist – Nephrology Practice
We are seeking a friendly, professional, and detail-oriented Front Desk Receptionist to join our busy nephrology office. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service while ensuring efficient front-office operations and a positive patient experience.

Front Desk Receptionist – Nephrology Practice
We are seeking a friendly, professional, and detail-oriented Front Desk Receptionist to join our busy nephrology office. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service while ensuring efficient front-office operations and a positive patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet and check in patients in a courteous and professional manner
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls
- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments
- Verify and update patient demographics, insurance information, and other required documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
- Assist patients with registration forms and office procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure data integrity
- Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and staff members
- Perform general administrative and front desk duties as needed
- Previous medical office or front desk experience preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer proficiency and data entry skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience with Athenahealth (Athena EMR) is highly desirable
- Knowledge of insurance verification and medical office procedures is a plus
