The Position:
As a Supervisor of Patient Communications at Panorama Eyecare, you will play a pivotal role in our mission to deliver the best eyecare. The Role
- The Supervisor of Patient Communications will contribute to the fulfillment of Panorama Eyecare’s mission statement by being responsible for the direction and coordination of patient communication activities.
- Maintains a department organization and communication system with the specific objectives of enhanced operating efficiency.
- Keeps open lines of communication with staff and management.
- Attends and participates in management meetings as scheduled.
- Works with department leaders when problems arise, taking the necessary action to formulate solutions.
- Mediates patient concerns; communicates with physicians, leadership, and staff as appropriate.
- Keeps open lines of communication with other department supervisors to facilitate collaborative and cohesive relationships.
- Interviews applicants for Patient Communication Representatives.
- Educates new staff on documentation/billing guidelines as appropriate.
- Addresses employee concerns and intervenes to improve employee performance when needed.
- Prepares employee evaluations for direct reports.
- Writes and maintains policies and procedures for administrative and call center departments.
- Drives high quality patient care by monitoring and assisting in managing key performance indicators associated with assigned departments including call abandonment rate, hold times, and scheduling errors.
- Provides direct oversight of daily activities within assigned departments.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Who You Are
- Self-motivated, highly organized and demonstrates a strong attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of Medicare/Medicaid, VA, Lions Club, Tricare Prime, and Narrow Network Insurances.
- Strong problem-solving skills, along with the ability to successfully mediate issues for patients and employees.
- Knowledge of computers and proficiency with computer software (Microsoft Office Suite) – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Education/Certifications/Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous patient communication experience.

- Ability to work at one of the following locations on a daily basis: 13772 Denver West Parkway, Building 55, Suite 200, Lakewood, CO or 2809 E Harmony Rd, Ste 130 Fort Collins, CO 80528
- Compensation for this role will be $24.50 - $35 an hour based on experience/certification.
- This is a Full-Time Position.
