Job Overview
We are seeking energetic and dedicated Part-Time Janitorial Cleaners to join our dynamic facilities maintenance team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across various commercial and residential properties. Hours: 7pm - 10pm
Days: Monday - Friday
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across designated areas.
- Handle custodial duties such as window cleaning, restroom sanitation, and surface disinfecting using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment.
- Operate commercial cleaning equipment like floor buffers, scrubbers, and vacuums to maintain floors and carpets in pristine condition.
- Follow safety protocols when handling chemical agents, ensuring proper storage and usage in accordance with safety procedures.
- Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling of cleaning supplies, furniture, or equipment while adhering to safe lifting practices.
- Maintain cleanliness logs, report maintenance issues promptly, and assist with minor facilities upkeep as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client or occupant concerns professionally and courteously.
Skills
- Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles with knowledge of commercial cleaning procedures.
- Skilled in the safe handling of chemical agents and understanding chemical handling safety procedures.
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, scrubbers, vacuums, and other custodial tools.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and follow safety protocol adherence consistently.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on sanitation standards and facility maintenance.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients or team members.
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance tasks including minor repairs or residential painting is a plus.
