Cook: We are seeking a Morning Shift Cook who can work in a fast-paced environment to join our Kitchen staff. A reliable cook passionate about food. Cooks are required to prep our signature dishes as well as grilling meats, and prepping and shredding meats like the Paniolo Steak and Kalua pork. Must be able to work in various temperatures environments (hot, cold, wet, and dry) The Cook Position offers a competitive hourly rate PLUS TIPS.
Responsibilities
Ensure food items are prepared by following recipes and using correct measuring devices.
Ensure working area and walk-in are kept clean and organized.
Practice safety and sanitation standards.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and cooking appliances.
Support prep duties as necessary.
Skills & Abilities
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Ability to use tools and equipment.
Standing/walking 6 to 8 hours.
Understand health and safety protocol in the kitchen.
Work with a sense of urgency.
Ability to multitask.
Pay: $20.00 per hour
