Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and lead engaging youth programs that promote personal development, teamwork, and community service.
- Manage classroom or activity spaces to ensure a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all participants.
- Implement behavior management strategies to encourage positive conduct and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and community partners to tailor activities that meet the diverse needs of children and teens.
- Maintain detailed records of attendance, participation, and progress reports.
- Teaching evidence based curriculum in both group and individual settings.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children or adolescents in educational, childcare, camp, or recreational settings is a plus.
- Knowledge of classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with youth, parents, and team members.
- Ability to adapt activities for children with diverse learning styles or special needs.
