Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging prevention programs tailored to identified needs.
- Conduct assessments to identify community needs and develop strategies that promote healthy behaviors.
- Encourage positive lifestyle changes and overcome barriers.
- Provide education on topics such as drug and alcohol use prevention, life skills, anger management, parenting skills, and other topics as needed.
- Collaborate with educatiors, parents, and community partners to coordinate services and outreach efforts.
- Maintain detailed records of attendance, participation, and progress.
- Teaching evidence based curriculum in both individual and group settings.
Skills
- Good communication skills for public speaking and teaching.
- Knowledge of classroom management strategies and behavior management strategies is a plus.
- Ability to adapt programming to meet client needs.
- Passion for working with children and families and fostering growth through programming.
- Familiarity with community outreach strategies and collaborative teamwork to maximize program reach.
