What are the responsibilities and job description for the Prevention Specialist position at Panhandle Services for Children, Inc?
Prevention Specialists are responsible for teaching needed skills to youth and adults using evidence-based curriculum in topics such as drug and alcohol use prevention, life skills, anger management, parenting skills, and other topics as needed. Applicants should possess strong teaching and public speaking skills as the position requires teaching in group and individual settings as well as creating and conducting presentations to large and small groups. Bilingual is a plus!
