Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential properties and Airbnb rentals, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, and outdoor spaces when applicable
- Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure a hygienic environment for guests and residents
- Conduct floor cleaning and care, including vacuuming, mopping, carpet cleaning, and floor surface maintenance
- Manage laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels
- Use appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment safely and effectively to clean surfaces, furniture, appliances, and fixtures
- Handle manual tasks involving heavy lifting or outdoor work with proper technique to prevent injury
- Communicate professionally with clients to understand specific cleaning needs or special requests
Skills
- Proven experience in residential cleaning or hospitality housekeeping management
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures for various surfaces including carpets, floors, countertops, and appliances
- Familiarity with janitorial or custodial equipment such as vacuums, steam cleaners, buffers, and mops
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during scheduled shifts
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients or guests
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual handling tasks confidently
- Experience with outdoor work environments is a plus for maintaining exterior spaces or outdoor furniture
- Knowledge of cleaning products including detergents and sanitizers to ensure effective sanitation standards
