Front Loader / Equipment Operator
The Front Loader / Equipment Operator is responsible for safely operating heavy equipment to support pipe handling, material movement, and field operations. This role plays a key part in maintaining efficient workflow across job sites, yards, and customer locations while upholding all safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate front-end loader and other heavy equipment to move pipe, materials, and equipment safely and efficiently
- Load and unload trucks, railcars, and staging areas
- Support field operations by transporting and organizing pipe and materials at job sites
- Assist with additional operational tasks including CVD, yard support, and general labor as needed
- Coordinate with ground crew and spotters to ensure safe equipment operation
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety issues
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and assist with minor maintenance as required
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and site-specific requirements
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Support team productivity and contribute to efficient job completion
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred
- 1–3 years of oilfield, construction, or heavy equipment experience preferred
- Proven ability to safely operate heavy equipment (front loader experience preferred)
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and background check
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to assist across multiple job functions This position may require assistance in multiple operational areas depending on business needs. Flexibility and teamwork are essential to success in this role.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in outdoor environments and adverse weather conditions (heat, cold, etc.)
- Ability to sit, stand, and operate equipment for extended periods
- Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, climb, and reach overhead
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Good hand-eye coordination, depth perception, and manual dexterity
- Ability to hear and communicate effectively in both loud and quiet environments
Work Schedule
- Expected hours: 45–55 hours per week, including overtime as required
- Must be available for field assignments and varying job site locations
