Panhandle Dumpsters LLC is a veteran owned and locally operated waste disposal company that specializes in weekly residential trash service and dumpster rentals.
About the Role:
Panhandle Dumpsters LLC is currently hiring Class B CDL Local Truck Drivers assigned to a private fleet based in Martinsburg, WV. Drivers will run a dedicated Residential Trash Pick-up route for residential customers of our company. Schedule is a five-day work week with opportunities for additional days. Weekend work is only required when weather or holidays push out a route. Pay is based on experience.
Responsibilities:
- A typical work schedule for this position is Monday-Friday (Occasional Saturday as needed) with the driver being home every evening
- Completing pre and post trip truck inspections
- Ability to safely operate a garbage truck on specified routes to collect waste
- This is a position requiring lifting and climbing in and out of the truck
- Able to read route sheets and use tablet to ensure completed service
- This is a full time, year-round position
- Assisting helper with larger stops
Candidate Requirements:
- Must have a valid Class A or B CDL license with a current DOT valid medical certificate
- Minimum of 1-2 years of previous commercial driving experience and a clean driving record, as well as Clean DOT Clearinghouse
- Able to lift objects to shoulder height weighing up to 50 lbs
- Able to operate lever hand controls for hydraulic machinery
- Basic knowledge of truck components to complete pre and post trip inspections
- Valid Class A or B CDL with Air Brake Endorsement
