Lead Guest Services Team Member

We are seeking a mature and responsible Lead Guest Service Representative to elevate the guest services experience in our bakery. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the frontline ambassador in providing outstanding customer service, manage guest inquiries and uphold the highest standards of the guest experience. In this position you will assist in running the bakery and coordinating the departments of guest services, crafting and frosting. You will be required to work all operational areas when manning dictates. This person is a key holder. Operational flow of the bakery, teamwork and guest services are top priorities. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable (but not necessary) to effectively communicate with diverse guests. As a holiday driven business, you be available prior to all holidays. Requirements

• Able to work all opening hours of the bakery
• Customer Service Role: minimum of 1 year experience (preferred)
• Mature and Responsible!
• Solid understanding of guest service and financial operations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Computer skills: experienced with Microsoft® Word, general computer knowledge.
• Positive attitude, good communication skills, and an understanding of and ability to assist in implementing a team approach in the bakery
• Some merchandising skills helpful
• Operate (POS) Point of Sale systems efficiently for sales transactions and refunds. TOAST Preferred
• Attention to detail and ability to handle cash transactions accurately
• Upsell additional products or services to enhance the guest experience and increase sales
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and courteously
• Support supervisory staff with training new team members in NbC guest relations, protocols and hospitality standards
• Abide by all NBC policies and procedures
• Abide by NBC’s uniform policy
• Uphold NBC's image, brand and culture
• Maintain the cleanliness of the bakery
• Maintain wait times, service and convenience
• Project a positive attitude
• Lead guest service by example at all times
• Represent Nothing Bundt Cakes in a professional manner at all times

Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing all GSRs in every phase of product preparation and guest service.
• Motivate employees to achieve maximum effectiveness.
• Provide team member training according to company guidelines and cross-train employees so they are able to perform multiple functions.
• Reconcile all cash transactions.
• Perform key crafting duties.
• Monitor crafting and GSR inventories.
• Create and maintain a positive work environment.
• Anticipate potential problems and ability to solve to guest satisfaction.
• Promote a positive team environment that encourages collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.
