Responsibilities
- Perform thorough diagnostics on vehicles to identify mechanical issues and recommend appropriate repairs.
- Conduct powersports repairs, including brake repair, engine maintenance, and other essential services.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used for each vehicle.
- Communicate clearly with service manager regarding vehicle's condition, repair options, and estimated timelines for completion.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow and high-quality service delivery.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques through ongoing training.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Technician or Mechanic in a professional setting is a must.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and repair various vehicle systems.
- Familiarity with powersports diagnostics tools and equipment.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively.
- Sales experience is a plus, as it can enhance customer interactions and service offerings.
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment relevant to vehicle maintenance. Must have own tools.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
