A growing medical technology organization is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Analyst to join their Operations team in Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone a with Military logistics or a supply chain background. We are searching for people who enjoys working with data, improving processes, and collaborating with teams to keep operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage field inventory counts for warehouse and hospital consignment locations
• Analyze inventory trends, discrepancies, and movement to improve accuracy and reduce shrinkage
• Develop and manage the annual consignment inventory count process
• Collaborate with sales and operations teams to maintain accurate inventory records
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and complete necessary adjustments
• Prepare inventory reports, adjustments, and month-end summaries
• Support inventory reviews, audits, and operational projects
• Maintain strong relationships with internal teams and customers to support effective inventory management
• Provide quantitative and analytical support for operational inventory decisions

Qualifications:

• Experience in inventory management, logistics, materials management, or operations analytics
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills
• Experience with Oracle or SAP (SAP experience is a huge plus)
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365
• Bachelor's degree preferred or military logistics experience
• Military logistics or supply chain background is highly valued
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to independently investigate and resolve routine materials or inventory issues

Travel:

• One overnight trip per month required
• Territory includes Alabama, Florida and Mississippi
