4th Grade Literacy Teacher

Open Position: Teacher (4th Grade Literacy) MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: •Hold 4th Grade Teacher Licensure •Be considered highly qualified by one of the following: A.Earn an ELA growth score in the top quartile statewide based on the three year average B.Earn a highly effective rating according to the Educator Effectiveness System (EES) C.Hold a Master Professional Educator Designation •Preferable trained in Phonics First or Take Flight for Dyslexia interventions •Successful completion of state-required Child Maltreatment and background examinations ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned) •To collaborate with co-teachers •Create high standards for students while recognizing the abilities and disabilities of each student as well as considering the age of each student. •Create a caring and safe atmosphere •Willing to accept constructive criticism from administration and co-teachers •Attend mandatory teacher meetings and parent/teacher conferences •Establish a positive relationship with parents •Willing to participate in some extracurricular activities •Direct supervision of students Application Process: Apply Online through the Pangburn School Website (https://www.pangburnschools.org/) Use the Employment tab to reach the Licensed Employment Application link (google form).
