Overview
We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and experience in industrial maintenance. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment in a manufacturing environment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues using precision measuring instruments and schematics.
- Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to ensure proper functionality of automated systems.
- Perform hydraulic system maintenance and repairs.
- Utilize welding skills for equipment fabrication and repairs as needed.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities through maintenance logs.
- Adhere to safety protocols while operating scissor lifts and other equipment in high voltage environments.
Skills
- Proven experience as an industrial mechanic or in industrial maintenance roles.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to analyze complex systems.
- Electrical experience, including low voltage and high voltage systems.
- Proficient in the use of multi-meters.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and manuals in English.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to relay pertinent information at shift change.
- Prior experience in various pump rebuilds is a plus.
- Familiar with LO/TO procedures.
- Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs.
- Ability to walk up and down stairs and climb up and down ladders.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $35.00 per hour
