Job Summary
We area locally owned industrial manufacturing company seeking a dependable and experienced Full-Charge Bookkeeper to manage our daily accounting operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, has strong attention to detail, and wants to contribute to a growing business.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations, and journal entries
- Maintain the general ledger and prepare monthly financial reports
- Process invoices, payments, and collections
- File CAT tax and assist with payroll tax reporting
- Support budgeting and cash flow tracking
- Assist with inventory and job costing
- Coordinate with external accountants for year-end reporting
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Proficiency in Sage BusinessWorks, QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Experience in a manufacturing or job-costing environment preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
Education
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred but not required)
- Equivalent experience may be considered
