Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other menu items with precision and care.
- Operate cash registers and POS systems efficiently, ensuring accurate cash handling and transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment and workstations.
- Follow food safety guidelines in food preparation and handling to ensure customer safety.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, providing recommendations and taking orders accurately.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, syrups, and other supplies.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and efficiency.
- Stay updated on coffee trends and menu offerings to enhance customer experience.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Barista Required.
- Knows how to dial into Espresso Machine
- Latte Art
- Knows how to make Cold Brew
- Familiarity with cash registers, Aloha POS systems, or similar point-of-sale technology is advantageous.
- Knowledge of food safety practices related to food preparation and handling is essential.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
- Basic understanding of retail math for accurate cash handling and inventory management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A passion for coffee culture and willingness to learn about different brewing methods is highly valued.
