Job Overview

Duties
- Lead guided golf cart tours through the Nights of Lights display, sharing captivating stories about the city's history, architecture, and local attractions.
- Build rapport with guests to enhance their overall experience and ensure they feel welcomed and engaged throughout the tour.
- Utilize effective storytelling techniques to make each tour informative and entertaining.
- Manage tour groups efficiently, ensuring all guests are accounted for and comfortable during the ride.
- Maintain presentation skills that reflect professionalism and enthusiasm, creating a positive atmosphere for visitors.
- Drive a golf cart safely while adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols.
- Obtain or hold a valid driver’s license and be willing to acquire the city of St. Augustine, FL certified tour guide license if not already certified.
Experience
- Previous experience in tour guiding or customer service is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Proficiency in foreign languages is highly desirable to accommodate international visitors.
- Strong communication skills with an ability to connect with diverse audiences.
- Ability to effectively manage groups and handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Presentation skills that can captivate an audience and enhance storytelling efforts.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive a golf cart; willingness to obtain the local tour guide certification is required if not already certified.
