Crew Member

Associate is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service, preparing and serving high-quality food, maintaining a clean and safe restaurant environment, and supporting daily operations. Associates work as part of a team to ensure every guest receives a great dining experience while upholding Panda Express standards for food quality, cleanliness, and hospitality.

Essential Responsibilities

Guest Service

• Greet guests with a friendly and positive attitude.
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure guests receive excellent service throughout their visit.
• Handle guest questions, concerns, and special requests professionally.
• Maintain a welcoming dining room environment.

Food Preparation & Quality

• Prepare ingredients and food items according to Panda Express recipes and standards.
• Serve food accurately while maintaining portion control standards.
• Monitor product freshness, quality, and presentation.
• Refill serving line products to ensure availability during business hours.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.

Restaurant Operations

• Maintain cleanliness of the dining room, kitchen, restrooms, and service areas.
• Complete opening, shift, and closing duties.
• Stock supplies and organize inventory as assigned.
• Assist with dishwashing, trash removal, and general cleaning tasks.
• Support team members in all areas of restaurant operations.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Adhere to food safety, health, and sanitation standards.
• Use equipment safely and report maintenance concerns.
• Participate in required training programs and team meetings.

Qualifications

Required

• Must be at least 16 years old (or meet local hiring requirements).
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks.

Preferred

• Previous restaurant, retail, or customer service experience.
• Experience working in a team-oriented environment.
• Knowledge of food handling and sanitation practices.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, reach, twist, and perform repetitive motions.
• Ability to work near hot surfaces and kitchen equipment.
