Job Summary
We are looking for a friendly, welcoming, energetic, child-friendly, self-motivated receptionist to manage our front desk at Panda Pediatrics
Responsibilities
- Greet all patients and families with a warm smile.
- Verify insurance prior to patient appointments.
- Check patients in and out.
- Be able to communicate to parents about co-pays and other feeds due at time of service.
- Schedule patient appointments according to guidelines.
- Multitask multiple phone lines.
- Scan new patient charts and consultation notes into EMR software.
- Keep waiting rooms organized and clean.
- Manage office workflow/schedule.
- Balance charges and receipts at the end of each day.
- Computer skills include Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Collect co-pays and outstanding patient balances. Provide general customer service and attend to the needs of customers throughout their services
Qualifications
- One year of customer service experience is preferred
- Previous experience as a receptionist is preferred
- Bilingual English-Spanish required.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Familiar with computers and scheduling software
- Excellent multi-tasking skills
