Part-Time Event Staff – Panda Fest (Portland)Job Description
Panda Fest is one of the largest outdoor Asian food festivals in the United States, bringing together food vendors, cultural performances, live entertainment, and family-friendly activities.
We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Part-Time Event Staff to join our Portland event team.
Depending on operational needs and your experience, you may be assigned to one of the following roles:
- Headband Inflation & Giveaways
- Bounce House Management
- Mascot Performer
- Sales Staff
Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist festival guests
- Support assigned activity or sales area
- Help maintain a safe, organized, and enjoyable event environment
- Work collaboratively with the event team
- Provide friendly customer service throughout the event
Qualifications
- Available to work all scheduled event days (preferred)
- Comfortable working outdoors for extended periods
- Able to stand and walk for long periods
- Friendly, dependable, and punctual
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Additional role-specific qualifications may apply. For example, some positions require strong customer-facing English communication skills or the ability to wear a mascot costume for scheduled rotations.
Schedule
Event Dates: September 11–13, 2026
Applicants who are available for the full event schedule will be given priority.
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
