Job Summary
We are seeking Bartenders/Servers to join us at Pancho Omalleys. Bartender positions must have 2 yrs experience. Server positions no experience necessary, we offer training. Bar/Server positions must be 18 and tip certified. Must be available Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Responsibilities
- Take food and drink orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery.
- Engage with guests to provide personalized recommendations, answer questions about menu items, and enhance their overall experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
- Process cash transactions efficiently, handle credit card payments, and balance cash drawers
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender or server in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with cash handling procedures is essential.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently through effective time management and organizational skills.
- Basic math skills for retail math, food handling calculations, and cash processing; experience with food safety standards is required.
- Knowledge of food service operations including catering, banquet service, and food industry best practices is preferred.
- Hospitality industry experience that includes serving alcohol responsibly and understanding responsible beverage service protocols is highly valued.
