PanCare Health is looking to hire a Medical Assistant/LPN to join our Marianna Medical team!
Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday: 8 am-5 pm; Wednesday and Thursday: 1 pm-9 pm
Off days would be Sunday and Monday
Position Description:
- Administers prescribed medications and treatments by nursing standards.
- Assists in preparing equipment and aids the physician/nurse practitioner during patients' treatment, examination, and testing.
- Observes, records, and reports patients' condition and reaction to drugs and treatment to physicians/nurse practitioners.
- Maintains timely flow of patients.
- Greets patients and prepares them for physician/nurse practitioner examination. Screens patients for appropriate information. Instructs patients in the collection of samples and tests.
- Arranges for patient testing and information.
- Formulates and updates patient care plans. Order, prepare and inspects patients’ charts. Posts tests and examination results.
- Responsible for preparing exam rooms, including re-stocking of treatment areas.
- Participates in CLIA and OSHA compliance and monitoring.
- Participates in professional development activities and maintains professional affiliations.
- Monitors emergency kit and equipment as required.
- Monitors and maintains supplies and medications as appropriate.
- Completes referrals and other paperwork promptly.
- Maintains tracking of UDS required information.
Skills:
- Proven working experience as a medical assistant or LPN in a clinic setting
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Social perceptiveness and service-oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
