Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Hydraulic Technician to join our team. This role will focus on the assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of hydraulic pumps, motors, and related components. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in hydraulic assembly and a strong understanding of hydraulic systems. This position plays a key role in ensuring our products meet quality standards and perform reliably in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble hydraulic pumps, motors, and related components to specifications.
- Perform testing to verify performance, efficiency, and reliability of units.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Inspect parts and completed assemblies to ensure quality standards are met.
- Work closely with team members to meet production schedules and deadlines.
- Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Identify and report any issues or opportunities for process improvement.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience assembling hydraulic pumps and motors.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Experience using hand tools and measuring equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to inspect own work.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
Preferred:
- Experience with testing hydraulic units.
- Familiarity with different types of hydraulic pumps (gear, piston, vane).
- Technical or vocational training in hydraulics or a related field.
Physical Demands:
- Standing and bending are required.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs regularly.
