Responsibilities
- Lead and support the back-of-house team during daily service with baked goods
- Prepare and design menu items with consistency, quality, and presentation standards
- Maintain an organized and efficient kitchen workflow
- Communicate effectively with front-of-house and back-of-house teams
- Assist with daily prep, stocking, and kitchen opening/closing tasks
- Ensure all food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards are followed
- Monitor ticket times and coordinate with front-of-house for smooth service
- Help maintain inventory levels and communicate supply needs
Qualifications
- 1 years baking experience
- Experience in a café, restaurant, or fast-paced kitchen environment is required
- Knowledge of Mexican pastries
- Experience with recipe development
- Experience in sourdough
- Strong communication skills; Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required
- Strong time management and ability to work efficiently during busy service
- Knowledge of food safety and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment
