Responsibilities

• Operate the cash register accurately, handling retail sales transactions with proficiency in POS systems and cash handling procedures.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service, including greeting shoppers, answering questions, and offering product recommendations.
• Conduct product demos in the deli area to showcase fresh items and promote sales through upselling techniques.
• Stock shelves efficiently by replenishing products, organizing displays, and ensuring merchandise is attractive and accessible.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli section and stockroom to meet health and safety standards.
• Assist with merchandising efforts by setting up promotional displays and ensuring store product knowledge is current for customer inquiries.
• Handle phone inquiries professionally, providing information about store hours, products, or services while practicing proper phone etiquette.
• Support in supervising team members when needed, guiding new staff on cashiering procedures, stocking routines, or customer service expectations.
• Participate in inventory counts and assist with stock management to ensure accurate inventory levels.
• Engage customers with friendly communication skills, fostering loyalty through excellent service and product knowledge.
• Deli Preparing making Subs ,Biscuits and pizza based on your shift.
• All job duties with multi task work based on requirments of bussiness.

Experience

• Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred, especially with cashiering or stocking duties.
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations is highly desirable.
• Supervising experience or leadership roles are a plus, demonstrating your ability to guide team members effectively.
• Bilingual skills are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases.
• Knowledge of retail math—including basic math skills for cash handling—is essential for accurate transactions.
• Experience with product demos, merchandising, upselling techniques, and grocery store operations will help you excel in this role.
• Strong communication skills combined with excellent phone etiquette will enable you to connect confidently with customers and team members alike.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 30.0 per week
