Pan-American Life Insurance Group (PALIG) is seeking a Sales Development Representative to generate qualified leads and schedule appointments with key stakeholders in targeted markets. This includes engaging retail brokers to promote and support Fixed Indemnity Plans (FIP) and Gap insurance products, as well as identifying and connecting with employers in Service Contract Act (SCA) industries and other strategic sectors to introduce and position FIP offerings. The role requires strong communication skills, market insight, and a proactive approach to lead generation and relationship building.
This role will be based in our Oak Brook, IL. office and will be required to be in-office full time for an initial training period. Once training is completed, a hybrid work arrangement will be considered.

Essential Functions
Manage Outbound Call Campaigns to Drive Engagement:
- Initiate outbound calls to retail insurance brokers and HR departments of target industries.
- Conduct 60–80 outbound calls per day to engage with clients, prospects, or stakeholders, ensuring consistent outreach and communication goals are met
- Schedule introductory meetings for senior sales reps or account managers
- Maintain the scheduling of 10–15 appointments/week
- Identify and qualify prospects based on company size, industry, and employee demographics
- Achieve a lead conversion rate of 20% – 30% through effective communication, follow-up strategies, and relationship-building techniques.
- Log all interactions in SF, update lead statuses, and track follow-ups
- Maintain CRM data accuracy at 95% or higher by consistently updating and verifying client records, ensuring reliable and actionable information.
- Ensure follow-up responses are completed within 24 hours or less to maintain timely communication and support customer satisfaction.
- Identify new prospects and gather intelligence on industry trends and competitors.
- Assist Marketing in coordinating outbound campaigns to build engagement with qualified leads.
Sales Support: Assist in preparing presentations, proposals, and contracts for distributors and clients
Key Requirements & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Finance, or related field or four years of relevant sales/business development experience in lieu of degree
- 2 years of experience in sales, business development, or group benefit sales is preferred
- Accident & Health Insurance License preferred
- Excellent communication skills; presents ideas effectively to an individual or group, formally or informally.

- Competitive compensation package (base salary & incentive compensation) Target base salary of $60,000 with an incentive compensation ranging from $10K to $15K.
